Aari plays an NRI in this suspense thriller

After belting out impressive performances in films like Nedunchaalai and Maya, Aari is presently busy with a bunch of projects, including Kadai Enn 6 and Nagesh Thiraiyarangam. And now, the actor has signed on his next — Mouna Valai. The pooja of the film, directed by Robert, is all set to take place today.
Confirming the news, Robert, who has earlier helmed Kalam, says, “The film is a suspense thriller, and Aari plays an NRI who returns to the country.How he falls in love with the heroine — played by Smruthi — and subsequently has to unravel a web of mystery, forms the crux of the story.”
Mouna Valai also stars Harish Peradi, Madhusudhan and Aroul D Shankar in pivotal roles. While Javed Riaz (of Maanagaram fame) will be composing music, Farook J Basha will be cranking the camera. Robert adds, “The film will be shot entirely in Chennai and will be high on suspense.”
